Itinerary
La Nucía
Our first stop will be La Nucía, where from its viewpoint you can admire the impressive Sierra de Bernia, Mount Ponoch (known as The Sleeping Lion), and the Callosa de Ensarriá valley. We will also see Polop de la Marina, with its iconic cemetery perched on the hilltop.
Polop de la Marina
We will stop in Polop de la Marina, a village with a special atmosphere. We will visit its famous Plaza de Los Chorros and, if it is a weekday, the Gabriel Miró House-Museum, dedicated to the renowned writer (closed on weekends).
Castell de Guadalest
We will continue to the impressive Castell de Guadalest, a village with narrow streets of Arab influence. We will climb up to the Castle of San José to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the reservoir and the Sierra de Bernia.
Lunch
You will enjoy a typical local menu at Restaurante Molí de Xirles*, offering high-quality traditional cuisine in a privileged natural environment surrounded by nature.
