Itinerary
Castle of La Mola and Sanctuary of Santa María Magdalena
We will start our visit at the Castle of La Mola, located on a hill at 360 meters altitude and declared a Cultural Interest Site since 1931.
Next to it, we will admire the Sanctuary of Santa María Magdalena, designed by the Novelda engineer José Sala Sala, with clear influences from Antonio Gaudí’s modernist style.
Modernist Tour of Novelda
We will enter the historic center to discover the Modernist Houses, with special attention to the Modernist House Museum of Novelda. This architectural gem, designed by Pedro Cerdán Martínez, was the home of Antonia Navarro Mira and represents a magnificent example of early 20th century modernism.
Historic Center
Time to explore the historic center and visit emblematic buildings such as the Casino of Novelda, built in the 19th century.
